Blackpool

St Annes

A Victorian pier, wide dune beaches and Ashton Gardens' formal park - St Annes' own stretch of coast, a short walk from Lytham.

Poulton-le-Fylde

The coast's inland market town and rail gateway - a working market square, not a seafront, but the best-connected base on the Fylde.

Fleetwood

A historic fishing port at the tip of the coast, with a tram link straight down to Blackpool.

Thornton-Cleveleys

Cleveleys' open, redesigned seafront and Thornton's 18th-century windmill village a short walk inland - two halves of one town.
